Finding Beauty in Nature
I chose this picture because I love how peaceful and beautiful the scenery looks. The sunlight shining on the mountains and reflecting in the lake really caught my attention. The photo was taken by Jeff Pang during a backpacking trip in the Sabrina Basin in California’s Eastern Sierra. To me, this picture represents adventure, freedom, and the excitement of discovering new places. I think traveling is not just about visiting different destinations but also about experiencing new environments, learning about the world, and appreciating nature. Looking at this picture reminds me that sometimes we need to take a break from our busy lives and enjoy the beauty around us.
I also learned that using images on a website comes with responsibilities. By using a Creative Commons licensed photograph and giving credit to its creator, I can share something meaningful while respecting the photographer’s work. Adding alternative text also helps make the image accessible to people who use screen readers.
